At PRO DANCE Studios - Los Angeles, Playa Del Rey, you can get private dance lessons with the U.S. Champions.
L.A. is a place where creativity moves through the streets like a current. In a city built on expression, dancing isn’t something reserved only for professionals. It’s something anyone can step into.
So yes, you can take dancing classes in LA, Playa Del Rey.
And not just anywhere, but in studios shaped by dancers who’ve lived the art to its highest level.
Our dance studio in Playa Del Rey was founded by Iaroslav and Liliia. Two internationally trained professionals whose careers span across Europe and the U.S.
Today, we welcome students of all levels and ages. So if you’ve been wanting to start for a while, here’s everything you need to know about private dancing lessons in Playa Del Rey!

1‑on‑1 instruction is the best way to learn how to dance because you’ll get clear feedback and build strong fundamentals. It also lets the instructor shape each session around your goals and the style you want to focus on. This kind of personal attention helps you improve faster and avoids the pressure or limitations that can come with group classes.
Let’s see some other benefits of attending private classes:
If you’ve never taken dance lessons before, it’s easy to imagine something scary. In reality, at most schools, they’re relaxed, supportive, and surprisingly fun.
It’s in our interest to understand your goals and what you want to accomplish. Because it’s not the same if you’re here to improve your health, prepare the wedding choreography, learn it as a hobby or compete.
Whatever your reason, the instructor will shape the lesson around it. Depending on your goals, your first class might include technique training, choreography, musicality work, conditioning, or performance skills.
At PRO DANCE Studios - Playa Del Rey, we offer many styles you can learn.
Here’s a closer look at what you can learn.
Perfect for anyone who wants to learn smooth, coordinated movement with a partner. Ballroom styles will help you understand frame, timing, and connection. You’ll learn dances such as Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and more.
They’re rhythmic, lively, and great for social dancing. You can explore Salsa, Bachata, Cha‑cha, Rumba, and more. You’ll learn how to move your hips, connect with the music, and move with confidence in any setting.
It’s energetic, expressive, and accessible to beginners. You’ll learn how to isolate, hit accents, transition smoothly, and perform choreography with intention. Whether you want to dance like your favorite TikTok creators or explore more advanced choreography, Hip Hop offers endless possibilities.
Contemporary blends technique with emotion. It’s fluid, expressive, and perfect for those who want to explore storytelling through movement. Contemporary is ideal for those who want to explore artistry, not just steps.
Jazz is dynamic and performance-driven. It builds strength, flexibility, and stage presence. You’ll work on kicks, turns, leaps, and stylized movement.
We create custom choreography for first dances, father-daughter/mother-son dances, and more. Whether you want something simple and elegant or something fun and unexpected, we’ll create a routine that fits your style.

As we mentioned, in a 1‑on‑1 setting, you’ll get most of your instructor’s attention. You can slow down when you need to, and focus on the exact skills you want to improve.
Group classes offer a different kind of value. They’re social, energetic, and great for practicing what you’ve learned so far in private dance lessons.
Both formats help you grow, but in different ways. Many students choose a mix of both.

Take a look at the atmosphere of group dance classes:

What matters most is your willingness to learn and your consistency.
The best style for beginners depends on what you enjoy.

Contemporary is ideal for people who want to explore emotion and fluid movement. Jazz is great for building strength, flexibility, and performance skills.
If you’re unsure where to start, contact or visit us and we’ll help you with your decision.
Dancing is both. But skill matters far more than talent.
Natural ability can help with rhythm or coordination, but dance is primarily a learned skill. Technique, musicality, posture, strength, and confidence all come from training and repetition.
Even professionals, including our founders of PRO DANCE Studios, built their careers through years of practice, coaching, and dedication.
With the right instruction and consistent effort, anyone can become a strong dancer. Talent may open the door, but skill is what carries you forward.
We’ve created a space where students of all ages and levels can learn, grow, and feel supported.
Our studio is led by Iaroslav and Liliia Bieliei, 2021 U.S. National Professional International Standard Champions and U.S. Open Champions.
But what matters most to us isn’t the trophies, it’s the people we get to teach. Over the years, we’ve developed the Prism Method, created successful online programs, and earned our Dance Vision certifications. Completed our Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education and Sport, and produced the KOLO Dance Show. All of these experiences shape the way we teach today.
So if you want to try something new you’ll enjoy, join us for private dance lessons.
We’d be honored to welcome you into our studio family and help you discover how dance can become one of the most joyful parts of your life.
